About the workshop
Aimed at supporting First Nations Australians to achieve their career goals within the Australian Public Sector, this event will inspire and invigorate attendees.
Workforce data for Australian Public Service (APS) agencies shows Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees were significantly over-represented at the trainee to APS 4 classifications and significantly under-represented at middle management, executive level leadership and senior executive leadership roles. With only 3.5% representation overall there is still a significant way to go increase First Nations Employees to 5% by 2030.
This workshop will enable attendees to create a clear action plan to implement in order to take the steps they desire towards the leadership opportunities they deserve.
