Dr Jeremiah Brown

Dr. Jeremiah Brown, a Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of Melbourne's School of Social and Political Sciences, focuses on the intersection of social policy, freedom, and financial wellbeing. His research, influenced by Amartya Sen’s capability approach, explores how societal disadvantages limit individual freedoms in democratic settings. Dr. Brown earned his PhD in Political Theory from the University of Melbourne in 2018 and teaches political theory and social science research methods.
